GHS Scholarship Info

Guidance - GHS Home

Conducting an Internet search is a fast and easy way to look for college scholarship information.  The MI-Search Program from the Michigan Department of Treasury is a free information service that guides students through the scholarship search process.  Using the Student Financial Aid Web site at http://www.MI-StudentAid.org, you can locate Michigan specific scholarships sponsored by various colleges and universities and national scholarship database services.

Remember to keep you scholarship search in perspective; an Internet search is just one path to information.  Other ways to obtain scholarship information include:

  • reviewing this site for scholarships from colleges and other sources that come through our Counseling Office.

  • discussing your college plans with your counselor

  • visiting college campuses - Financial Aid Office

  • contacting your parent's employer to inquire about possible scholarships

Scholarship Opportunities:

Applications and/or additional information for most of the scholarships listed here can be obtained in the counseling office.
