Mrs. Sheryl Florian, CTE Director
Mrs. Sheryl Florian is the Career-Technical Education (CTE) Director at Gaylord High School. She holds a bachelor's degree in Education and a master's degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. She has taught at Grayling High School in Grayling, Michigan, and began teaching in Gaylord in 1995. At GHS, Mrs. Florian oversees the Vocational Education department, including Marketing, Medical Occupations, Family and Consumer Science, Business Technology, Automotive, Culinary Arts, Welding, and Landscaping. For this department at the high school, she manages a $1.2 million budget. Additionally, Mrs. Florian teaches ICAPS and manages the Co-Operative Work Experience program at GHS.
A 1989 graduate of Grayling High School, Mrs. Florian is married to Nick Florian, and has two children, Jakob, 9, and Ashley, 6. Away from her busy school day, she enjoys reading, downhill skiing, shopping, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
