Mr. Curt Chrencik, Assistant Principal

Mr. Curt Chrencik is one of two Assistant Principals at Gaylord High School. He holds a bachelor's degree in Group Sciences (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, etc.) from Western Michigan University, and a master's degree in Education from Spring Arbor University. He has taught in Hamilton, Michigan, and he also taught science at GHS for three years. He is in his eighth year as assistant principal. While teaching in Hamilton and Gaylord, Mr. Chrencik also coached many sports, including wrestling, football, baseball, and golf.

A native of Osage, Iowa, Mr. Chrencik is married and has three children. When he is not at work at GHS, he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and participating in other sports such as curling, tennis, and intramural basketball. He also officiates for wrestling tournaments in the Gaylord area. Along with co-assistant principal Mr. Wilson, Mr. Chrencik was also a member of the 2007 Cosby Cub champion team.
